Education at Duckmanton Primary School totals 32.5 hours per week for all children in full-time education.

The school gates open every day for drop-off at 8:40am and close at 8:55am. Any children who arrive after this time will be marked as late. The school day ends at 3:15pm

Nursery sessions are 8:45am - 11:45am and 12:15pm - 3:15pm

The school office is open from 8am - 5pm

Breakfast Club

We offer a breakfast club service to all parents. The breakfast club starts at 7:45am until the start of school.  Breakfast includes: cereals, toast, juice, fruit and/or yoghurt).  The last call for breakfast is made at 8:20am.  

The cost of Breakfast club is £2 per day. This can be booked and paid for using Parent Pay. 

After-school Club

Each night, the children have the opportunity to explore and participate in a variety of activities during our after-school clubs (paid and unpaid) which can be viewed and booked via Parent Pay. 

In addition, we offer wraparound care from the end of the school day until 4:55pm every day. Places can be booked on this via Parent Pay.  The cost of our after-school wraparound care is £3 per session. 

Late Collections

We are aware that occasionally situations arise in which parents have to pick up their children late. While we will always make sure your children are supervised, school does incur additional costs in these situations, which we have to cover. Therefore, should there be an emergency late collection after 5pm, there will be an additional charge of £5.00 to cover the costs.   Please ALWAYS contact school to leave a message which will be picked up at 5pm.
